The Super Heroes Colour Run for Cancer event, in support of the Sam Damalis Foundation for cancer patients, took place on May 1st 2019. The whole program was well attended, with a range of age groups from children to the elderly. Not only was Autoworld one of the sponsors, we also participated!
There were three categories: the 2.5km run, the 5km run and the 10km run. Two of our staff participated in the 5km run - Andrew Malembeka, our Finance and Administration Manager, and Abuild Zulu, one of our Salesmen.
One feature of this race is ‘colour splashing’ - marshals are places at different stages of the race and as runners passed by, they are splashed with colours.
This was a fun race and everyone was a winner. In fact a ‘Super Hero’s medal’ was given to everyone who finished the race.
